Deadline

Meet the quota or meet your end.

Deadline is a sci-fi action roguelike where you play as a mid-level corporate grunt working for Xenocorp Industries—a ruthless, galaxy-spanning conglomerate contracted to "normalize" alien populations for resource extraction. You're not here to ask questions. You're here to hit your daily kill quota—before your ship’s dwindling power cells run dry.

💀 Harvest Souls, Meet Quotas

To survive and advance, you must harvest alien souls. Souls serve two purposes:

• They're your score, counting toward your daily kill quota.

• They're also the currency you use to stay ahead of the game.

You need to meet quota before your power runs out! Every weapon increases the energy usage so pick your upgrades carefully!

🛒 Between Missions: The Corp Store

After each mission, dock at a Xenocorp vendor ship where you can spend harvested souls in the Shop to purchase:

• New weapons (up to 8 slots total)

• Automated turrets (up to 4 slots total)

• Player stat upgrades

• The GIGA DRILL, a unique weapon that devours its unique slot but unleashes terrifying power. also looks cool.

🌌 A Changing Galaxy

Each mission takes place on a procedurally generated alien world. No two planets—or their hostile inhabitants—will ever be the same. Explore, adapt, survive.

📈 Escalating Stakes

With every completed mission, the game ramps up:

• Enemies Victims grow tougher with more health and aggression and running speed

• Soul quotas increase, demanding more efficient extermination

• Prices in the shop rise, reflecting Xenocorp’s dynamic market inflation™
